HI, I’M SAM AND THERE ARE TWO THINGS in the world I love most: FOOD AND TALKING ABOUT FOOD.
I moved to Berlin with my German Partner 7 years ago. Since then, my passion for food and the culinary scene in this great city has exploded!
Bite Berlin is my way of sharing this love of food with all of you. And I am really excited about taking like-minded food lovers to the hidden corners of Berlin to enjoy the most exciting food experiences this city has to offer.
As much as I love talking to people about food, I also love to cook for others as well. That's why I host supper clubs in my cosy Neukölln apartment. Some of my recent events have included a mix of Indian, Mexican and Vegan cuisine. Check back here on the website for more info on one of my upcoming supper clubs (or just ask me after a tour!)
When I’m not entirely preoccupied with filling my greedy tum, you can find me at Zumba, doodling, watching Made in Chelsea or looking at pictures of Nina Dobrev on Instagram.
Helga, originally from beautiful Stockholm, Sweden, fell in love with Berlin after completing her education at The Royal Swedish Ballet School in 2005.
And she has lived here ever since!
Making a career as a Performance Artist and Stunt Woman, she also has a passion for all things food- and it runs in the family with her Grandfather being the legendary Swedish chef Tore Wretman, who set the tone for the Swedish culinary landscape.
When she is not stepping in for Tom Cruise, she loves to show other foodies this wonderful citys most scrumptious spots!
Helga offers tours in English, German and her native Swedish.
So come on, lets go Bite Berlin together!
Karo, from Krakow in neighboring Poland has lived in Berlin since 2012. After completing her studies in Comparative Studies of Civilizations between her home town and Spanish city of Cádiz, she finally made her way to Berlin in 2012.
The city captured her heart and she has called it home ever since and now proudly calls herself an adopted Berliner! As a tourism professional and a linguistic geek, she loves food & travel above all, having lived in both Ecuadorian Quito and Catalan Barcelona also.
Currently, Karo is completing her Master in Adult Education and Lifelong Learning at Humboldt-University, (whose alumni include Karl Marx, Albert Einstein and the Brothers Grimm!) and enjoys introducing newcomers to the multicultural city of Berlin through its kitchen backdoor with Bite Berlin!
Karo offers tours in English, Spanish and her native Polish.
